Bio:

Ahmed Darwish joined New England Sports Network as Chief Marketing Officer in January 2022 and then became Chief Marketing & Digital Officer. Beyond marketing, he oversees NESN and SNP’s digital and streaming businesses. In June 2022, Darwish led the launch of NESN 360, the first direct-to-consumer (DTC) regional sports network offering and followed on with the launch of SNP 360 in Pittsburgh in April 2024. 

Prior to joining NESN, Darwish was Head of Product and VP of Marketing and Product at STARZ. There, he led DTC growth efforts including scaling the business 4x domestically and launching STARZ DTC in 12 markets internationally. In addition, he was responsible for standing up new digital distribution platforms and partnerships, product and lifecycle marketing functions, monetization, and global care operations. As part of the marketing leadership team, he also supported original and licensed content decisions in addition to the deployment of hundreds of millions of dollars in media to launch and grow new and existing IP.

Before joining STARZ, Darwish was a consultant with McKinsey & Company in Stamford, CT, where he was a member of the Marketing & Sales and Tech-Media-Telecom practices. During his tenure, he worked predominantly with consumer tech, media, and hospitality clients across growth strategy, M&A, product strategy, strategic turnarounds, go-to-market, marketing ROI, organizational redesign, and other growth initiatives. 

Prior to McKinsey & Company, Darwish was a Consortium Fellow at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth where he received a general management MBA. Before attending business school, Darwish worked in advanced analytics at DIRECTV in Los Angeles. Darwish received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California where he was a Resident Honors Program scholar and the Baccalaureate Ceremony student speaker.
