Brian Pinkerton is Senior Vice President, Advanced Development, and leads technical innovation, AI, and strategic software development. Prior to joining Roku in 2020, Brian served as Chief Architect of Siri at Apple and was Vice President and General Manager of Search for A9.com at Amazon. Earlier in his career, Brian held executive roles at several search-focused startups, including Lucid Imagination, Technorati, Excite, and America Online. He has a master’s degree and doctorate in computer science from University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
