Bio:

Brian Ring is a streaming technologist and strategic advisor with deep expertise in full-stack go-to-market strategy, product-market fit, and revenue growth across the video technology ecosystem. As President of Ring Digital llc, he assists leading vendors with fractional and consulting projects including most recently LLM-integrated media workflows, the CTV programmatic stack and the next evolution of pay TV.

Brian has a strong track record of measurable revenue growth in both full-time and consulting roles. At Amagi, he helped to drive $18M in net new ARR across flagship products including CLOUDPORT, THUNDERSTORM and Ads Plus, while cultivating partnerships with ad-tech players like TripleLift and Gumgum. Strategic account wins included Paramount Global, Raycom Sports, NBA G-League, NHL and DraftKings Network.

At Synamedia, Brian managed marketing strategy for an $850M video technology portfolio, helping to reposition Ciscos SPVSS security, contribution and encoding portfolio as a cohesive unit in it's first and last public reveal at IBC in 2018. At Ericsson, he led product strategy for two different cloud-based TV solutions and drove over $35M in sales to customers including AT&T and ESPN. At Thuuz Sports, he helped pioneer the idea of AI generated metadata as well as "catch-up-to-live" use cases for pay TV. His storytelling, case studies and webinars helped to generate 200+ leads.

His consulting practice has served other clients including Brightcove, Wowza, Mux, Beamr, Ateme, MediaKind, Belden/Grass Valley, SeaChange, Touchstream, Univision, and Pac-12 Networks. Earlier in his career, Brian built an interactive content business unit at Scope Seven from zero to $3M in revenue (later acquired by ZOO Digital), with clients including DIRECTV, Hasbro, Mattel, and Warner Bros.

Brian is an active thought leader who writes and moderates panels for many trade groups including Stream TV Show, Stream TV Insider, Streaming Media, Sports Video Group, and SportsPro Media. His industry research platform, #FutureOfTV.Live, delivers insights on streaming technology, CTV advertising, and the business of television.

Brian holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Psychology (Magna Cum Laude) from UC Berkeley.
