Anna Asberg

Bio:

At Gilead, Anna Berg Asberg serves as Global CIO, where she leads the company’s enterprise-wide IT strategy. Her focus is on aligning technology solutions with Gilead’s priorities and delivering capabilities that drive business transformation.

Prior to joining Gilead in April 2025, Anna built a distinguished career at AstraZeneca implementing IT strategies that supported company growth and led major transformational initiatives.  This included developing establish AI for R&D, build patient digital health solutions, digitizing lab spaces, and enabling global clinical trials and regulatory submissions.

Anna began her career by founding the German subsidiary of Resco AB, where she hired the first 100 employees and built a profitable business.
