Bo Han is the Chief Commercial Officer of Transmit, a market-leading technology company unlocking the full revenue potential of streamed content through the power of AI and sports data. Transmit empowers broadcasters, leagues, and streaming platforms to maximize monetization through innovative in-stream ad formats, advanced ad delivery, and real-time data intelligence that enhances both relevance and the viewer experience.
Transmit’s streaming-native monetization technology helps sports leagues, networks, and publishers generate incremental revenue through ad formats purpose-built for live and on-demand content, from branded replays to picture-in-picture units to stream extensions. By combining contextual AI with sports data and seamless creative integration, Transmit enables advertisers to reach fans in real time and at scale. With partners across major leagues, networks, regional sports networks, digital publishers, and global streaming services, Transmit is reimagining how sports content is monetized for the streaming era.
Previously, Bo led Global Live Sports Content Partnerships at Twitter, where he oversaw more than 100 deals across live streaming, highlights, and VOD, including partnerships with the NFL, FIFA, NBC (Olympics), NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA TOUR, MLS, ESPN/Disney, CBS, and Turner Sports.
Following Twitter, he founded Buzzer, a mobile platform focused on real-time sports moments and short-form live viewing, partnering with major leagues to reach next-generation fans.
In addition to his role at Transmit, Bo serves as Chairman of the Governing Board at Many Hopes, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the root causes of injustice through education, infrastructure, and community leadership in vulnerable communities around the world.
He has been recognized as a Leaders Under 40 honoree by Leaders Sports, an SBJ Outstanding Executive of the Year nominee, and a Forty Under 40 recipient by Sports Business Journal. He earned his BA from Cornell University and his MBA from Columbia Business School.
Born in Seoul, Korea, Bo lives in New York City with his wife Emily, their children Hayes and Lily, and their dog Mercer.
