Greg Diefenbach

Bio:

Greg Diefenbach is the EVP of Streaming for Blue Ant Media, leading the company's free streaming and SVOD product offerings worldwide. Greg joined Blue Ant in October 2025 following the company's acquisition of digital streaming company, MagellanTV, which he co-founded. Greg oversees the growth of Blue Ant’s global streaming business through its portfolio of more than a dozen multi-platform channel brands that offer audiences curated programming across factual genres including natural history, true crime, history, science and lifestyle.

Greg has spent his career at the intersection of factual content and emerging distribution. Early to recognize the rise of VOD, Greg built Alliant Content into one of the first distributors dedicated to serving emerging streaming platforms, which became the content distribution arm of MagellanTV. Greg's career has spanned both the creative and business sides of the television industry — from producing for National Geographic, to global co-production and distribution at Disney/ABC subsidiary DDE, to serving as Senior VP of Television for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. His work has earned broad recognition, including both the Emmy and Peabody awards.
