Gregory Dray, Co-Founder, Animaj; Chairman, Lumee (a Hasbro and Animaj company).
Gregory Dray is the Co-Founder of Animaj, a next-generation kids and family media company leveraging AI and a digital-first approach to build the global franchises of tomorrow. He also serves as Chairman of Lumee, the premier advertising and brand partnerships Joint-Venture between Animaj and Hasbro designed to reinvent the business model of kids’ entertainment in the new era.
Under his leadership, Animaj has raised over $125 million - including a notable $85m Series B in 2025, co-led by HarbourView Equity Partners and Bpifrance - and earned a prestigious spot in the Disney Accelerator program. Reflecting its unique position in the industry, the company counts Google and The Walt Disney Company among its shareholders. Animaj’s premium IP portfolio features iconic brands such as Pocoyo and Maya the Bee, reaching audiences across 100+ platforms globally.
A recognized leader at the intersection of media and tech, Greg previously spent nine years at Google/YouTube. As Managing Director of YouTube Kids International between 2016 and 2021, he spearheaded the platform’s global expansion into 130+ markets, scaling it to over 100 million Monthly Active Users. His 20+ year career also includes leadership roles at Lagardère Group, Dailymotion, and Time Warner (now Warner Bros. Discovery).
Beyond his operational roles, Greg is a passionate advocate for European talent and education. He is an elected member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and has served on the boards of International Schools Partnership (ISP) and MarcoPolo Learning. An alumnus of Sciences Po Paris, ESCP, and Stanford Graduate School of Business, he also founded Stanford’s first Global Media, Entertainment, and Communications Alumni Chapter.
