Bio:

Marco Bresaz is Executive Vice President, Programming for Law&Crime, the leading platform for legal and true crime content. At Law&Crime, Bresaz oversees a portfolio of true crime programming produced for a wide range of partners as well as Law&Crime’s owned platforms including Court TV. Recently, he was a key part of the team that launched Law&Crime’s streaming service, Law&Crime+.

 

Bresaz is an award-winning storyteller fueled by curiosity about people and ideas and the potential he sees in both. 

 

After beginning his career production managing daytime talk shows and iconic soap operas like All My Children and One Life To Live, he broke into TV development. His early career included successful tenures at Spike TV and TV Land where he helped develop the hit comedy series, Hot In Cleveland.

 

From there, he began a 15-year run at AMC Networks. For the last 3 of those years, Marco ran the Nonfiction Team, developing projects for AMC+ and linear networks AMC, BBC America, and Sundance TV. He and his team created a vibrant true-crime franchise housing both continuing and limited series, fueled a day-long programming block of best-in-class natural history, and oversaw an effective drama companion series strategy.
