Maryam Mehrtash is an entertainment marketing executive, writer, and speaker with nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of media, technology, and culture. Most recently, she led Global Marketing Partnerships & Promotions at Marvel Studios and 20th Century Studios at Disney, overseeing theatrical and streaming campaigns across film and television.
Formerly Vice President of Marketing Strategy & Brand Partnerships at Paramount and CBS Entertainment, she architected the go-to-market advertising launch of Paramount+, driving 9-figure annual revenue and managing strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 brands including Google, Amazon, and General Motors — across iconic IP like Star Trek, Yellowstone, and The GRAMMYs. Her background also includes building digital monetization for KTLA 5 News and Tribune Media, and producing unscripted television.
Few executives have worked across as many platforms as Maryam — from linear TV and radio, to online marketing and podcasting, to the creator economy and global streaming — giving her a rare, ground-floor view of how digital media actually evolved.
She is authoring her first book and writes This Is Not A Memo, a weekly Substack newsletter on leadership, reinvention, and courage. She is a TV Week 40 Under 40 honoree, a WIF Business Fellow, and serves on the Board of Directors for two nonprofits: Waterwell and Prohuman Foundation.
