Bio:
Mike Wittrock is Chief Operations Officer at DIRECTV, where he leads the company’s operations organization across IT, Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales. With more than 30 years of experience in the pay-TV industry and nearly 20 years across DIRECTV and AT&T, he has built a distinguished career leading large-scale operations, customer experience, technology, and sales organizations through periods of significant industry transformation.
Prior to his current role, Wittrock served as Chief Sales & Service Officer, overseeing all residential and commercial sales and service functions, including Sales Operations, Contact Center Operations, Field Services, and Research & Customer Experience strategy. During his tenure with AT&T, he held several senior leadership positions, including responsibility for broadband and video customer acquisition, connected communities, regional sales and distribution across 12 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and customer care for video, broadband, and wireless services.
A Marine Corps Reserve veteran, Wittrock served from 1989 to 2005 and earned numerous military honors, including a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and multiple Achievement Medals. He is a passionate advocate for veterans through DIRECTV’s Veterans@DIRECTV council and the S.A.V.E. (Suicide Awareness Veterans Engaged) initiative. He is also actively involved in nonprofit organizations and community service efforts, supporting causes focused on veterans, youth development, education, and health.
