Mina Kamarasheva | SVP, Managing Director, LocalOne Investments and Promotions, Horizon Media
Mina Kamarasheva oversees Video, Audio, and Promotions for Horizon’s West Coast clients.
Since arriving at Horizon in 2013, Mina has been instrumental in building a forward-thinking and dynamic team of Media and Promotions experts. Through continued education and hands-on experience across a variety of clients and categories, under Mina’s leadership, her team has built an expertise in data-driven buying, Advanced/Addressable TV, programmatic Audio, CTV/OTT, and podcasting. As a leader Mina strives to challenge the status quo and bring innovation and creativity to every negotiation.
Mina’s investment philosophy has always been to not only deliver strong efficiencies, but also look for customized break-through media activations unique to each client and market.
With over 20 years in the business, Mina has built strong relationships with key, high-level media executives and stakeholders. Prior to Horizon, Mina worked at a variety of agencies like Mindshare, OMD, and Starcom. Her experience spans across all advertising categories and a diverse roster of clients. Mina’s experience in entertainment is particularly extensive. She has worked in a leadership role across a variety of movie studios like Paramount, Universal Pictures, Focus Features, and STX Entertainment. At Horizon her team has also been responsible for handling Video and Audio investments for a variety of networks such as Disney, Freeform, FX, CBS, etc.
Mina is also passionate about mentoring and teaching others, which led to her involvement in leading Horizon LA’s Media training program designed to groom our future media rock stars. In addition, Mina is currently participating in the Boyd Initiative as a mentor, helping young minority professionals discover careers in media and advertising.
Mina lives in Silverlake, Los Angeles with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. When she is not working, you can find her at one of LA’s amazing farmers markets shopping for the next home cooked meal or dinner party. Besides cooking, Mina is passionate about traveling all over the world, reading, and hiking (while most likely listening to a podcast or two).
