Bio:
Sean Brown is a creative and product leader with over 20 years of experience in digital, interactive, and UX design, widely recognized as a thought leader in digital storytelling and streaming experience.
Sean is Senior Director of Design and Development for Warner Bros. Discovery’s Advertising Innovation & Design Group, where he leads a multidisciplinary team of designers, motion artists, developers, and producers shaping how audiences discover, engage with, and transact around content across WBD’s digital and streaming platforms. His group partners with WBD’s product teams to invent new ad formats and viewer experiences for CTV, generating seven-figure revenue.
Earlier at WBD, Sean co-founded Courageous Studios, building it into an award-winning branded content studio before moving on to focus on advertising innovation and product design. Prior to WBD, he was Creative/Product Director at Condé Nast Digital, guiding the company’s shift from print to digital — shipping its first native iOS app (Style.com, 2007), leading the first digital magazine editions for GQ, Vanity Fair, Glamour, and The New Yorker, and launching the Epicurious iPad app that Steve Jobs selected as an iPad launch partner.
Sean’s work has earned two Webby Awards, an ASME award, a Silver Cannes Lion, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and Condé Nast’s first Innovator of the Year. He continues to push experiential and AI-driven design into the next generation of audience experience.
