Bio:

Tania Missad is a leading insights and strategy executive with more than 25 years of experience helping some of the world’s most iconic brands and entertainment companies understand audiences, build franchises, and drive growth. In her career, she has worked with some of the world’s largest companies and most beloved brands including Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Neutrogena, Mattel, Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and Sony Pictures Television (SPT). 

As EVP of Insights, Strategy and Analytics at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Missad leads the teams responsible for production content strategy, audience insights, data analytics, and complex data applications across the studio’s global television portfolio. Under her leadership, SPE has expanded its use of AI, advanced predictive modeling and automation to help identify growth opportunities and synthesize complex data across platforms, markets and business lines. She and her teams help inform show development, production process, new show pitches, franchise, marketing, strategic planning & myriad business decisions across scripted, unscripted, game shows, as well as worldwide distribution and divisional finance.   

Before joining SPT in October 2023, Missad served as Head of Global Corporate Research, Data Analytics and Insights at Warner Bros. Discovery. During her seven years at Warner, she led global research, analytics and insights initiatives across the company’s film, television, network, streaming and consumer products businesses on brands such as Harry Potter, DC and HBO Max. Prior to that, Missad held several consumer insights positions at Mattel, where she played an integral role in shaping consumer strategy for one of the world’s most enduring and successful brands, Barbie. 

A recognized leader in the field of audience intelligence and analytics, Missad was honored with the 2026 Achievement in Data and Measurement Award from TV of Tomorrow (TVOT) and was named one of the Advertising Research Foundation's Outstanding Members of the Year in recognition of her contributions to research, measurement and media innovation.

Missad holds a dual degree from the University of Pennsylvania, including a B.S. from The Wharton School and B.A. from the College of Arts & Sciences.  She further strengthened her expertise with the Harvard Business Analytics Program, a graduate-level multi-disciplinary degree from Harvard Business School & the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering & Applied Science. Her degree focused on applying advanced analytics & AI-driven data methodologies to driving business strategy and innovation at scale.
