Daniel Frankel
Founder and CEO
Bio:
Daniel Frankel is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Next TMT. Over two decades, this Los Angeles-based journalist has assembled a deep, rich and varied portfolio of skills, skills that make him very dangerous to those who don’twant to better understand what is happening to tech, media and entertainment businesses still being roiled by digital disruption.Working on staff as both a reporter and editor for national publications including Adweek, Variety, TheWrap, paidContent, FierceCable and Next TV, Daniel has covered almost every beat imaginable — from home video distribution to the global box office, from cable broadband to video streaming, from the broadcast TV upfronts to CableTecExpo. What some might call raggedly haphazard career management has resulted in a wildly unique, broadly holistic understanding of the seismic changes occuring every day in technology, media and telecom.
