Bio:
Erik, who was recently named a 2025 StreamTV Emerging Leader, plays a pivotal role in securing and maintaining partnerships between Xumo and operators throughout the country. A key leader on Xumo’s Affiliate Development team, Erik has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor to Xumo's parent companies – Comcast and Charter Communications. His efforts are instrumental in expanding the reach of Xumo’s products while ensuring the company remains aligned with the strategic goals of its owners. Beyond his work with Comcast and Charter, Erik has been a driving force in building relationships with smaller cable operators, positioning Xumo as a compelling alternative to competitor solutions in-market.
Prior to Xumo, Erik was at FreeWheel, a Comcast company and global technology platform for the premium video advertising industry, where he led the development and management of all programmatic partnerships. Erik made his way to FreeWheel by way of the company's 2021 acquisition of Beeswax, an early "bidder-as-a-service" that provided media buyers ownership and control over their media buying. At Beeswax, Erik led the business' ad-tech ecosystem partnerships and strategic deals while being responsible for helping chart the future strategy of the organization. Before that, Erik held roles at Quantcast, Polymorph (acquired by Walmart in 2019) and Magnet Media.
