Bio:
Kevin Vitale is Executive Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Creative for AMC Global Media, where he serves as the company’s brand steward and franchise marketing architect. A hybrid creative and strategist, Vitale brings sharp brand vision, cultural fluency and storytelling acumen to his role in elevating iconic IP, leading breakthrough campaigns and positioning the company’s networks and services for growth and success.
In his role, Vitale leads a cross-functional team focused on defining and amplifying AMC Global Media’s premium, fan-first portfolio of brands, which include targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, All Reality, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC America, IFC, SundanceTV and We TV; and film distribution label Independent Film Company. Vitale and his team work to develop genre-forward identity systems, bespoke series and film campaign strategies and marketing partnerships that super-serve the company’s diverse audiences and passionate fan communities across platforms and formats.
Throughout his time at the company, Vitale has played a critical role in building awareness and expanding the audiences of tentpole series and franchises, transforming legacy brands and delivering award-winning consumer, trade and B2B campaigns. Prior to his current role, Vitale served as AMC’s SVP of Integrated and Creative Marketing Strategy and SVP of Creative & Campaign Marketing. Before taking on his larger cross-portfolio roles, he led the creative team and brand marketing and strategy for the company’s IFC network, leveraging the Always On, Slightly Off brand through multi-platform campaigns that drove significant growth over the course of more than 7 years. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President and Creative Director of Rainbow Creative Services, and held roles at CBS and VH1.
Vitale has been recognized with more than 20 industry awards including Clios, PromaxBDA, D&AD honors. He earned a BA in Media Studios from CUNY: Queens College and completed the CTAM Cable Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School.
